Frequently Asked Questions

What is the dress code?

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit & tie. No jeans please!

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception as an adults-only event with the exception of our littles in the wedding party. We encourage you to use this evening as date night!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by August 31st, if we have not heard from you we will take your regrets.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outside?

The ceremony will be outside, the mountains can be chilly at night, bring a sweater if you need to!

Can I take pictures?

We are having an “unplugged ceremony” (no phones or cameras please!) The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired amazing professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos! After the ceremony, we encourage you to take as many photos and videos as you’d like!

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Dinner will be served buffet style so there will be an option for everyone. Please indicate when you RSVP for any specific food allergies or restrictions!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm, we recommend you aim to arrive by 4:30pm to ensure you are able to comfortably arrive on time and find a seat. Please plan accordingly with the Oktoberfest Festival happening in the same area.

Is there parking?

Parking and valet is available on-site, at the Cliff Lodge. Due to the Oktoberfest Festival parking may be limited. We would recommend the $20 valet (pricing is subject to change.) Please visit https://www.snowbird.com/parking/ for more information on parking.

I live in Utah, should I book a room?

If you are expecting to party, YES! We will be celebrating until midnight! Drinking and driving isn’t cool - book a room! We have a hotel block at the Cliff Lodge reserved for you.

Continue the party with us!

Following our big day we will be attending the Oktoberfest Festival on Snowbird grounds Sunday, October 6th. We encourage you to book a room for the weekend!
